Shahbaz hailed for setting up overseas Pakistanis cell

Businessmen and political leaders have hailed the decision of Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for setting up 'Overseas Pakistanis Cell' in Chief Minister House and said it would help redress problems of overseas Pakistanis vis-à-vis investment projects in the province in particular and country in general.
They were of the view that Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is becoming a role model with his proven leadership qualities, as he is keen to fetch foreign investment apart from improving the economic lot for the people. Shahbaz Sharif is whole heatedly working for removing ills created during the last eight years in every sphere of national life, they added.
PML-N Secretary General International Affairs Sheikh Kaiser Mehmood said that establishment of the "Overseas Pakistanis Cell" speaks of Khadim-e-Aala's keen interest in resolving problems of people belonging to all walks of life. He said the Chief Minister Shahabaz Sharif has a vision for bringing the country out of crisis and putting it on the road to progress and prosperity.
Appreciating initiatives taken by Shahbaz Sharif for restoring confidence of local and foreign investors, he said: "Overseas Pakistanis also want to play their role in strengthening the country's economy by making investment but the federal government would have to restore their confidence and remove their sense of insecurity." He regretted that conflicting statements and controversial steps by the rulers are creating uncertainty and despondency. He said Nawaz Sharif has the capability to ensure peace and stability and bring about economic prosperity in the country. He said initiatives of Khadim-e-Aala Punjab in all sectors of life including health, education, and agriculture are aimed at bringing about revolutionary changing in the lives of people.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Punjab vice-president Malik Muhammad Afzal Khokhar MNA said that Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif's visit to China has been very successful which would help increase Chinese investment in the province. He said Mian Shahbaz Sharif is dynamic and visionary leader and can meet any challenge.
