As the Eid-ul-Aza is approaching fast and a number of residents of twin cities of Rawlpindi and Islamabad have started leaving for their respective hometowns to celebrate the Eid with their dear ones, the transporters are fleecing the general public by overcharging them.
The passengers are also complaining that the transporters are creating artificial shortage of vehicles just to overcharge the public. This situation is creating scenes at the bus stands and some times exchange of hot words between transporters and commuters on fare issue.
