Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has asked India not to make Pakistan scapegoat of its security lapse after Mumbai attacks and continue dialogue process aimed at finding solution of conflicts between the two countries. The PML-N Central Secretary Finance Muhammad Pervaiz Malik on Monday strongly condemned the Mumbai attacks and described it a treacherous conspiracy to sabotage peace process between Pakistan and India.
He said now was time to show sanity instead of overwhelming emotion. He hoped that India would not take any knee-jerk step. He prophesied that if Pak-India tension shot up, war on terror would be impaired. The PML-N leader warned India of avoiding doing misadventure against Pakistan, saying if India committed the blunder, nation was united to defend the geographical boundaries of the country. He made it clear that Pakistan was not behind the Mumbai tragedy and asked Indian government not to make unnecessary hullabaloo to mislead the world.
He further said that allegations being levelled by India against Pakistan were baseless. If India had solid evidences, it should make them public, he said. He said that dialogue on peace process to explore durable solution for the conflicts between Pakistan and India should continue at any cost. He called upon international community including US, UK and China to play their role for ending the Pak-India tension.
