Islamabad College of Management and Commerce (ICMC) organised an event to mark the World AIDS Day, in collaboration with World Bank and Integrated Health Services, here on Monday. Aim of the function was to create awareness among nations and particularly young generation.
Ghulam Fareed, Chairman of 'Pakistan Observer' was the chief guest for the event. Students presented lectures, speeches, dramas and songs related to AIDS, in which curative and preventive measures were highlighted which cleared the myths relating to AIDS to a greater extent.
The chief guest and the chief administrator appreciated students for their brilliant effort and pledged to join hands together to fight against the fatal disease HIV/AIDS. A large number of youth, teachers of different colleges and many important social and political personalities attended the function.
