ISE index loses 71.46 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show healthy signs amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 71.46 points, as the index moved from 1,730.54 to 1,659.08 points. The volume of trade expanded to 726,423 shares as compared to previous turnover of 92,280 shares.
Total 72 companies were quoted on ready-board. Majority of stocks (51) closed in negative territory, 19 closed in positive territory, whereas two companies remained pegged to their previous levels. The volume of Fauji Cement was 314,000 shares. The turnover of Pakistan Cement was 296,000 shares. The turnover of Pakistan PTA was 28,500 shares.
