Pakistan Muslim League (N) Multan leaders Allah Nawaz Khan Durrani, district president, Shaikh Athar Mumtaz, general secretary, Zafar Qadri, secretary information, Rana Noor-ul-Hassan, city president, Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, MNA, Abdul Waheed Arain, MPA, Shahid Mehmood Khan, MPA, Aamer Saeed Ansari, MPA have strongly condemned distribution of article against party leader Nawaz Sharif's daughter Mariam Nawaz on Friday.
They described it a counter attack to save Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar. In their statements they lodged a strong protest over maligning the PML-N chief and his daughter in the sin what he did not commit.
PML (N) leaders also demanded the Speaker NA to order an inquiry into the incident and inform the nation who had allowed some elements to distribute the pamphlets and papers containing objectionable material on the floor of the House. "According to rules and practice, no paper or document can be distributed on floor of the House without Speaker's permission," they said. "If anybody wants to raise any issue, it is prescribed in rules," they added.
