Nepal Ambassador to Pakistan Bala Kunwar said on Saturday that Ajmal Qasab, the only person who was arrested alive during deadly Mumbai attacks last moth, had not been to Nepal, neither he was handed over to India by his country. Addressing a press conference here, he contradicted the reports that Amir Qasab was arrested in Nepal and handed over to Indian authorities.
The Nepalese Ambassador said he (Ajmal Qasab) had not been arrested in Nepal, he said, adding the rumour of his detention by the Nepalese government was also incorrect. However, the ambassador said they were investigating about issuance of visa to him by Nepal Embassy in Pakistan.
