Lahore Colours beat Lahore Whites by 2-1 in Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Festival Women Hockey match, here at National Hockey Stadium on Saturday. Punjab Minister for Sports Dr Tanveer ul Islam and wife of President Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Qasim Zia were chief guests. The players of both teams were introduced in half time. Later, chief guests distributed prizes among the players and officials.
At half time, Lahore Colours was leading by one goal to nil. Azra Nasir of Lahore Colours scored the first goal in 15th minute, while Aqeela Naseem scored second goal in 45th minute. Razia Malik scored the only goal from Lahore Whites in 40th minute.
