Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has written letters to Governor Salmaan Taseer , President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on the issue of confirmation of ad hoc judges and reinstatement of judges bypassing the Chief Minister.

The letter raises the question why, in confirmation and reinstatement of judges, the requisite of the Constitution was ignored. The letter to the Governor demands explanation for the events under which ousted judges were reinstated.
