The Election of the Karachi University Employees Cooperative Housing Society was held at the campus, a University spokesman said on Sunday. He stated that according to results, Prof. Dr. Pervez Siddiqui was elected as president for the second consecutive term by securing 83 votes as against 18 of his nearest rival Gul Hassan Taqvi.
For member Executive Council, Anwar Alam Khan secured the highest 64 votes. Others who have been declared elected are Shams ul Haq with 57 votes and Zaheeruddin 47 votes.
