The launching ceremony of the Finance Expo 2009 was held at a local hotel on Sunday. Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Advisor to the Ministry of Textile Industry, was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Baig hoped that the Finance Expo 2009 will provide a wide-ranging platform that will bring together the entire banking and finance industry spectrum, allowing exhibitors to maximise the benefits from the current positive market scenario.
The launching ceremony was attended by approximately 300 guests including personnel from banks, financial institutions, and economist. It was pointed out that the exhibition offers a powerful platform to network with industry professionals, improve customer relations, demonstrate latest services and mutually exchange best practices.
Mansoor Ahmed Khan, CEO of Been Tech Media Private Limited, was optimistic that Finance Expo 2009 will bring the opportunities available in the financial services industry of Pakistan for international joint ventures and will also attract huge investments for the country.
He further stated that we have plans to highlight the Karachi Index as Been Tech Media strongly believes in powerful economy and a strong Pakistan. Director Sales, Muhammad Waseem, also gave a presentation on the occasion.
