In occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Milat (DM), has said that the occupation authorities have detained its Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi under the black law, Public Safety Act (PSA) due to her contribution in the liberation movement.
The DM spokesman in a statement issued in occupied Srinagar said that only a week ago, the High Court had quashed the PSA slapped on Aasiya and ordered her immediate release. However, Aasiya had been re-arrested in other fake cases. The spokesman said that continuous detention of the DM Chairperson has proved that India wanted to crush the ongoing movement. He said that the Indian tyranny had affected the people of Kashmir. The spokesman called upon the world community and international human rights organisations to intervene and help release all the illegally detained Kashmiri leaders and activists.
