Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 76,883 tonnes of cargo including 30,474 tonnes of import, 46,409 tonnes of export, 3,513 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The freights comprised of 65,233 tonnes of dry cargo including 44,800 tonnes of general cargo; 20,433 tonnes of bulk cargo and 11,650 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships sailed out to sea during the reported period. Five vessels are currently at the berths.
