Karwan-e-Ilm Foundation will organise the All Pakistan Matriculation Awards Ceremony from December 29-December 30 in Lahore. The Chairman, Karwan-e-Ilm Foundation, Senator SM Zafar announced this in a press conference that he held along with the General Secretary of the organisation, Dr Aijaz Hassan Qureshi and member of the executive committee, Altaf Hassan Qureshi on Friday.
Zafar said that the organisation was giving the scholarships of Rs 10 million to the needy students annually. He also said that their organisation is totally funded by Pakistanis, especially by the expatriates. The Senator further said that the government should facilitate such organisations working for improve the quality of education in the country.
He said, 500 delegates from across the country including Azad Jammu and Kashmir would participate in the event. Karwan Chairman was hopeful of a positive change in the society, when the children of the poor people will get the benefit of education.
