Federal Minister for Social Welfare and Special Education Samina Khalid Ghurki has been briefed about Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE) and its functions, programmes, objectives in the Committee Room of Minister's office.
She has been informed that DGSE has been established in 1985 as an attached department of Ministry of Social Welfare & Special Education with the purpose to help the persons having any kind of disability. DGSE and other senior officials of the ministry attended the meeting.
Federal Minister heard one by one all the participants who gave comments and suggestions and shared their problems in a friendly atmosphere. She paid heed and appreciated the suggestions and efforts being done by them in this difficult field. Federal Minister said that PPP government will work hard as it believes on practical and not on verbal promises. People have elected us to solve their problems and we will try our best to solve them.-PR
