The Karachi Port handled 122,858 tonnes of cargo including 78,372 tonnes of import, 44,486 tonnes of export, 4,810 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The freights comprised of 100,441 tonnes of dry cargo including 59,838 tonnes of general cargo; 40,603 tonnes of bulk cargo and 22,417 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Andreask, Abtin-1, Hansa Liberty, Clementine, Flag Investor, Hyundai Qingdao and Ts Xingang sailed out to sea during the reported period. Five vessels viz Champion Pioneer, Hyundai Duke, Hanjin Qingdao, Oel Transworld and Adriatic Arrow are currently at the berths.
Five ship namely Dina Queen, Sargodha, Hyundai Duke, Oel Transworld and Equinox Seas expected to sail on Thursday while another vessel viz Adriatic Arrow is expected to sail on Friday. Two ships namely Gulf Tiger and Bunga Terasek due to arrive on Thursday while eight vessels viz Asdrubal, Capriole, Kapitan Byankin, King Brian, Bunga Kenari, Bavaria Express, H & H Tide and Pacific Arrow are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 94,530 tonnes including 74,333 tonnes of import 20,197 tonnes of export cargo and 1,372 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday.
The cargoes comprised of 8,766 tonnes iron ore; 5,970 tonnes of wheat; 3,387 tonnes of palm Oil; 44,000 tonnes of furnace oil; 3,000 tonnes of chemicals; 3,554 tonnes of rice; 7,547 tonnes of cement and 18,306 tonnes of containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV ACX Marguerite, CV CMA CGM Vollaire, MT Eastern Good Will and MT Stella sailed out to sea on Thursday.
A total of three ships namely CMA CGM Eiffel, Grand View and Al-Badiyah carrying containers, wheat and diesel oil respectively are currently at the outer anchorage. Nine vessels viz CV ACX Marguerite, CV CMA CGM Vollaire, MV Sea Belle, MV Eastern Sun, MV Tourloti, MT Eastern Good Will, MT Eastern Tera, MT Stella and MV Haadi are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, wheat, palm oil, furnace oil, chemicals and iron ore respectively during the report period.
Two ships namely CV CMA CGM Eiffel and MT Al-Badiyah are expected to take berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Fotco Terminal respectively on Thursday. Three vessels viz MT Sigas Maud, MV Sargodha and MV Berdyansk due to arrive on Thursday while another three ships namely MT Al-Deerah, MT Esterr and MT Capriole are due to arrive on Friday. Five ships namely Yakima, Wilma, Maliau, Iron Monger-3 and QSM Dubai carrying wheat, project cargo, chemicals, crude oil and cement are also due to arrive.
