A delegation of Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) led by its Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Shabbir called on Tariq Mahmood Khan, Chairman CDA here on Friday. Member Planning and Design Syed Tanvir Bukhari, Senior Director Public Relations Rawal Khan Maitla and officials of the concerned departments were also present in the meeting.
The delegation informed the chairman CDA that newly under construction tower of ISE would be an addition to the beauty of the federal capital. Modern technology is being used in the construction of tower, with all latest facilities. The delegation requested the improvement of service road and provision of a U-turn in front of tower.
The chairman CDA instructed the traffic engineer and other concerned departments to take necessary measures for provision of U-turn and improvement of the service road further.
Tariq Mahmood Khan said that he along with his team ie, officers of engineering wing, planning wing and municipal administration will visit ISE Tower within 10 days and will extend all possible co-operation in connection with its beautification and provision of other related facilities, keeping in view the recent incident of Ghakkar Plaza in Rawalpindi. He said that the ISE Tower must be equipped with fire extinguish service to avoid any untoward incident.
The CDA will install fountains at different sites including singing and dancing fountains at F-9 Park. We are also constructing Citizen Club with the facility of library, gymnasium, revolving restaurant, marriage halls, cinema hall and kids play area. Membership of the Citizen Club would be offered to the residents of Islamabad easily, he added.
The chairman CDA said that we are also working on construction of parking plazas in the Blue Area to ease the parking problems. The construction of ISE Tower will boost up economic and investment activities in the federal capital, he added. The delegation congratulated Tariq Mahmood Khan on assuming the charge of Chairman CDA and said that ISE will fully cooperate with CDA in the development and beautification of Islamabad.-PR
