Notices were issued to State and Special Prosecutor ANF for a date in office by an appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed and Justice Arshad Noor Khan in two appeals filed by same accused. The appellant Muhammad Saleh, Mallah by caste was arrested and booked by Thatta police on charge of being in possession and peddling charas.
The appellant was convicted and sentenced to two terms of Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for 2 years and a fine of rupees 20,000 was also imposed against him by Special Court for Control of Narcotics Court, Thatta.
