Control rooms established

The control rooms have been established in the DCO office of all the main cities of southern Punjab to ensure the situation of law and order during Ashura. The control rooms would remain functional for 24 hours to tackle any untoward situation. Revenue officers of the concerned districts would be the incharge of control room who give the security report on daily basis.
From the 7th of Muharram, army and Rangers would take the control of the cities especially in those areas, which are declared high alert by the law enforcing agencies.
