For making citizens feel secured on the during Muharram-ul-Harram, police and rangers held a flag march in the city. Heavy contingents of police and rangers patrolled important roads here on Sunday. Flag march is a message for the people that the police are the guard of peace and keen to provide the citizens safety of their life and property.
Flag march was held on the special instructions of City Police Officer (CPO) Rao Muhammad Iqbal Khan and supervised by the Senior Superintendent Police Sardar Maqsood Ahmed Khan to ensure law & order and sense of protection among the citizens. It is mentioned here that Pak-Army would also be deployed on the sensitive points to avert any untoward incident.
