The All Parties Hurriyet Conference leader and Jammu provincial president of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Mohammed Shafi Rangrez and four other Hurriyet activists were released after over a three-month illegal detention in Doda Jail in occupied Kashmir.
The leaders were arrested by the occupation authorities on October 3, 2008 and were booked under the draconian law, Public Safety Act, for staging pro-liberation and anti-India demonstrations during June uprising against the land transfer to the Hindu Shrine Board, KMS reported.
