Information ministry notifies appointments

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has issued the following notifications.
"In exercise of powers conferred under Section 7 of the Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation Ordinance 2002 (LXXX of 2000), the Government of Pakistan is pleased to appoint the following members of the Board of Directors of the APP Corporation with immediate effect and until further orders, says a notification issued by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting here on January 2, 2009:
i) Huma Ali, Resident Editor, Daily Din, Rawalpindi;
ii) Shoaib Bhutta, Editor Daily Tulu, Rawalpindi.
Notification 2: "In exercise of powers conferred under sub-Section (4A) of Section 6 of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 3.3 (as amended vide Pemra (amendment) Act, 2007), the Government of Pakistan is pleased to appoint the following members of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority with immediate effect and until further orders, says a notification issued on January 3, 2009:
i) Adnan A Khawaja, Chairman, Navtec;
ii) Kaiser Bengali, renowned economic writer/columnist."-PR
