The traders of Mall road, Bedan road, Hall road and its adjacent markets staged protest against unannounced load shedding on Monday at Mall road. The protestors, holding placards and banners chanted slogans against the government and Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) blocked the Mall road for an hour, which choked the city's traffic.
They said that continuous load shedding, which was the worst ever in the past records, has ruined their business. Traders further demanded an immediate end to the ongoing power crisis and urged the government to take urgent measures to address the issue.
