Faran Sugar Mills Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 71.711 million for the financial year 2008 but declared no dividend. According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here on Tuesday, the gross profit was estimated at Rs 77.731 million for the period ending September 2008. The earning per share stood at Rs 3.60 during the period under review.
