Debutant ELBA Pure Water Football team will take on former National Champion Pakistan Air Force in the stimulating Group-B clash of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) League-Departmental Phase 2008 on 18th January, here at Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) ground.
MTFA's president Mian Rizwan Ali said here on Friday that arrangements to host the coming ELBA-PAF clash have been completed. The trained ball pickers will be seen in action. Top two teams of each group will appear in semi-finals on 22nd January, followed by 26th January final. The teams well poised to enter last four are Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) while Sindh Government Press (SGP) had already assured spot in semis. The winner of PFF's Tier II competition will get Rs 200,000 award plus berth in Pakistan Premier Football League 2009.
