Punjab government has put a ban on the government hospitals to give house job to students of private medical colleges. According to the sources, the government has issued a letter No 32008(N)SO(ME)8 dated 17-11-08 stating that no student of private medical college would be given hose job in the government hospitals.
Only students of government medical colleges would be eligible to do house job in government sector medical colleges. Letter has been sent to the superintendents of all the government medical colleges, health university and teaching hostel of Punjab.
