Pakistan Steel Re-rolling Mills Association (PSRMA) has urged the former President of KCCI Siraj Qasam Teli to immediately withdraw his letter, written to President Asif Ali Zardari for suspension of PSRM license failing which the Association reserves the right to proceed in the court of law against him.
A PSRMA press release issued here on Tuesday said it has been noticed with grave concern that Siraj Qasam Telihas urged President Asif Ali Zardari to suspend license issued to PSRM by giving misguiding facts in this letter.
It said that a very strict criteria has been followed by the government of Pakistan for issuing license to trade organisations vide clause (q) of sections 2 of the trade organisation ordinance (LXXI) of 2007. So it is apparent that issuance of letter of Siraj Qasim Teli to the President of Pakistan containing misguiding facts against PSRMA, and it is unjustified and warrants serious action against him.
"The PSRMA was established in 1960, C.M. Latif, a renowned name of Batala Engineering Co, called as Steel-man of Asia, was elected as first Chairman of PSRMA. In view of above facts it is established that Siraj Qasam Teli has provided baseless and misguiding facts to the highest authority of Pakistan due to which the members of PSRMA have suffered mental torture physical pain, severe agony while the association has suffered loss of reputation due to wrongful action on part of Siraj Qasim Teli who is hereby called upon to immediately withdraw his letter failing which PSRMA reserves the right to proceed in the court of law.-PR
