DCO Qazi Ashfaq on Thursday cancelled the subsidised flour quota for the sasta tandoor (oven) of Rana Hotel in Mian Channu. The proprietor was found selling the bread at the rate of Rs 3 instead of Rs 2. Sasta tandoors are supplied subsidised wheat flour at the rate of Rs 250 per 20-kg bag instead of the Rs 420 market rate to provide relief to the masses.
The DCO said that those overcharging at these tandoors would not be provided the subsidised flour.
