District Nazim Attock, Major Tahir Sadiq (R) Friday said that present government has failed to come up to the expectations of the people. In an interview with PPI, he said that those who shouted the slogans of 'grow more wheat' have been failed to provide urea fertiliser to poor farmers. This situation has worried the farmers, he added.
He claimed people were prosperous during the tenure of previous government. He said previous government played her role practically to eradicate poverty and illiteracy. Job opportunities were provided to people but the present government snatched livelihood from them, he added.
District Nazim said that hundreds of government servants of the district were protesting over non-payment of salaries. He accused that political victimisation and vengeful activities were the agenda of the government of Punjab.
He further said enormous development had taken place during the tenure of former government and uncountable facilities were provided to the people and were living a happy life. He said power, gas and other crises have badly hit the country, adding no attention was being paid towards resolving the problems of the people. He added PML-Q would succeed in future and it would pull the country out of all crises.
