Tribute paid to Dr Hijazi

Department of Mass Communication, MAO college is holding a reference in memory of Dr Miskeen Ali Hijazi, renowned journalist writer at college auditorium here on Saturday. The known media scholars, journalists, teachers of Institute of Communication Studies, attended the condolence assembly.
Chairman Institute of Communication Studies Punjab University Professor Dr Mughees-ud-Din Sheikh, Waqar Hijazi (sons of Dr Miskeen Hijazi), Dr ahsan Athar, Dr Aslam Dogar, Professor Talal and other prominent figures paid glowing tributes to the great scholar and teacher.
Chairman Mass Communication department MAO College Professor Awais Ahmed Bajwa said that the purpose of the reference was to acknowledge the services of prominent journalist and former chairman of the mass communication department of the Punjab University. The Principal MAO College Professor Zafarul Mohsan Pirzada presided over the reference. Other renowned editors, journalists and intellectuals also spoke on this occasion.
