Capital City Police Chief Muhammad Pervez Rathore Sunday distributed cheques of Rs 28 lac among 14 injured police officials in Iqbal Town bomb blast and police encounter. On this occasion, he said that police jawans are opening a new chapter of gallantry and bravery by sacrificing their lives for the protection of life and property of the citizens.
CCPO said that he is proud of police officials who face every difficulty with courage and perform their duties efficiently in all dangers. He said that police officials are always ready to sacrifice their lives, and Lahore police is proud of its jawans.
The injured of Iqbal Town bomb blast and police encounter, who received cheques of two lac rupees each included SI Sabar Hussain, ASI Naseem Javed, HC Abdul Ghafoor, Constables Taj Muhammad, Pervez Iqbal, Muhammad Siddique, Muhammad Latif, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Ali, CD Nazir Ahmed and T/ASI Hamza Nawaz and Constable Faiz Farooq respectively.
