A Karachi University student of Economics Department, Anam Zohra, who was killed in a road accident at University Road on Saturday evening was laid to rest at the Model Town Graveyard here on Sunday after Zohr prayers.
Chairman of the Economics Department, Professor Dr Shafiq ur Rehman and the students were among those who attended the burial of the deceased, an official of the institution said.
He said that Anam Zohra, a student of Evening Programme of Economics Department, was waiting for transport on the University Road when a speedy truck hit and killed her. A condolence meeting for the deceased will be held at the Karachi University Campus on Monday at the Arts Auditorium.
