The notification of portfolios of the 23 members of AJK cabinet has been issued here and after completion of consultation with the coalition partners, the Prime Minister Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has given formal approval in this regard, sources added.
According to details, Mian Abdul Waheed (PPP) was notified as minister for Forest, Noreen Arif (MC) forward bloc for Social Welfare, Women Development and Technical Education Vocational Training Authority dept.(Tevta), Muhammad Hanif Awan (PPP) for Ushar Zakat and City Development Muzaffarabad, Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid (PML) for Hydro Electric Board and Religious affairs, Chaudhry Latif Akbar (PPP) for Finance, Planning and Development.
While Colonel Muhammad Naseem (Retd) (MC) forward bloc was notified as minister for PWD, Highways, Reconstruction and Bagh City Development Authority, Sardar Qamar Zaman (PPP) Health dept., Chaudhry Muhammad Aziz (MC) forward bloc for Education Schools and Information Technology Board (IT), Sardar Muhammad Naeem Khan (MC) forward bloc for Education Colleges and Small Industries, Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan (MC) forward bloc for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Environment, Major Mansafdad Khan (Retd) (MC) forward bloc for Agriculture, Irrigation and Armed Services Board, Chaudhry Muhammad Yousuf (MC) forward bloc for Mangla Dam Affairs, Co-operative, Fisheries and Wildlife, Chaudhry Rukhsar (MC) forward bloc for Revenue dept.
Similarly Chaudhry Anwarul Haque (PML) Public Health was made minister for Physical Planning & Housing, Ali Shan Sonny (MC) forward bloc Minister for Jail Khawana Jat, Custodian and Stumps, Abdul Majid Khan (MC) forward Bloc Minister for Information, Azad Kashmir loges and Saw mills (AKLAS) and Azad Kashmir Minerals Industries Development Corporation (AKMIDC) departments, Raja Muhammad Siddique (MC) forward Bloc Minister for Transport, Civil Defence and Affairs of Animal Husbandry, Syed Shoukat Ali Shah (MC) forward Bloc Minister for Food, Chaudhry Muhammad Akbar Ibrahim (MC) forward Bloc Minister for Rehabilitation, Muhammad Siddique Batli (MC) forward bloc Minister for Auqaf and Islamic Ideology Council, Dr Mahmood Riaz (MC) forward bloc Minister for Electricity Ghulam Muhidin Deewan (PPP) Commerce and Industry and Muhammad Tahir Khokhar of MQM Minster for Tourism, Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs.
