The District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Matiari Baqaullah Uner has directed the district police officer Matiari to finalise the foolproof security plan for celebrating 265th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) at Bhitshah in peaceful atmosphere.
This he directed while presiding the third meeting to review the arrangements of 265th annual Urs celebrations at Bhitshah Rest House. Addressing the meeting, he said that to provide full security, maintenance of uninterrupted traffic flow would be the prime responsibility of the district police officer.
He said that keeping in view the present scenario, the security measures would be more tightened and secret cameras would be installed at different places while intelligence network would be activated in whole covered area. He said that this time, the annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) would be celebrated in different but impressive style and many new events would be included.
He said that National Adabbi Conference would be organised, while a book of translation of Shah-Jo-Kalam in Arabic language would also be launched during the coming Urs celebrations. He said that it would be for the first time that all the proceedings of the Urs celebrations would be telecast locally through cable network and will also be broadcast through FM Radio.
He also directed the officers concerned to complete the repair and renovation work of shrine of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) as soon as possible and directed the EDO works Matiari to supervise the ongoing works personally.
The DCO Matiari also formed a health committee headed by EDO Health Matiari Syed Hassan Ali Shah and asked him to spare at least five well equipped ambulances with doctors, paramedical staff and life savings drugs and also to arrange blood bank at Bhithshah besides precautionary measures to be taken at the main hospitals of the district.
