A seminar on the effective role of women journalists in strengthening democracy and democratic institutions would be held at a hotel on February 3. The day long moot would be held under the auspices of the Women Media Centre (WMC) in collaboration with the National Endowment for Democracy USA, Executive Director of WMC Fauzia Shaheen announced.
She said that WMC is dedicated in improving the status of the women in the media through research, training and education.
