Provincial Minister for Finance and Planning and Development, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has said that Germany would enhance its co-operation for the promotion of technical education and improvement of transport sector in Punjab and we would get benefit with the expertise of Germany in various sectors.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Germany Group GTZ International which called on him at his office here on Sunday. The Minister said that we would take help from German model in the field of technical education and it would be up-dated according to needs of local as well as international standard. He said that the government has established a transport company for improving the system.
On this occasion, Regional Director of GTZ International for South Asia Hans Dube said that we are ready to co-operate with the government in education, transport and development for urban facilities and capacity buildings. He assured that Germany would provide all assistance to Punjab. Both leaders agreed to enhance co-operation between the two countries and next meeting would be held in the second week of February this year.
