Chief Minister Punjab Speech Competitions from primary to degree levels have been completed by holding intermediate level English speech competition here on Sunday. These competitions were held at MAO college, Government Islamia College for Women Cooper Road and Lahore College for Women University.
The Chairman Faisalabad board Dr Anwar, Chairman Rawalpindi Board Dr Iftikhar Baig, Chairman Lahore Board Dr Akram Kashmiri and Chairman Gujranwala Board Chaudhry Akram participated in these competitions as chief guests. The focal person of the speech competition announced the results of intermediate level speech competitions. Among the girl students, Mahira Butt of Superior Science College Gujranwala stood first, Amina Nasir Govt. Sadiq Degree College Bahawalpur second and Ramsha Nisar of Superior Girls College Rahimyar Khan stood third.
Among boy students Malik Asad PAF Public School/College Sargodha secured first position, Muhammad Akasha Ali Khan DPS School/College Okara second and Rana Masood Ibrahim Superior College for Boys Multan got third position.
n addition to that first phase of postgraduate level has also been completed and resultantly six best speakers have been selected who will participate in the final speech competition, which will be held on the occasion of prize distribution ceremony to be presided over by the Chief Minister Punjab. According to handout, six best speakers include Syed Zahab Ali, University of South Asia Lahore, Muhammad Faisal Maqsood Agricultural University Faisalabad, Shamoon Ahmad University of Punjab, Syed Fahaad Ali FC College University Lahore, Umer Zia Government College University Lahore and Sidra Andaleeb Lahore College for Women University Lahore.
Second phase of the postgraduate level speech competition will start from today and boys and girls students of universities will participate in Urdu Speech Competition. This competition will be held at Lahore College Women University Lahore.
