The trading on commodity wholesale markets kept to snaps pace in the early days while fluctuations too were not so sharp. However, on Monday til low type dropped Rs 100 to Rs 2,700, while the other type stayed put at last level. Irri 6 Sindh rose by Rs 25 to Rs 2,650.
On Tuesday barely Sindh and Mardan shed Rs 50 to Rs 2,950 while better type was quoted at Rs 3000, Irri 9 Sindh lost Rs 100 to Rs 3,400 while the other type was quoted at Rs 3,500.
On Wednesday business was subdued as prices tended higher. Wheat old and new Bardana gained Rs 100 to Rs 2,500-2,515. Sugar low type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 3,900 and better type was up by Rs 30 to Rs 4,050, gur inferior type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3,300. Khandsari quoted higher at Rs 3,500.
On Jodia Bazaar plastic moulding compounds closed mixed. The variations were: PLASTIC MOULDING COMPOUNDS (per lb): HDPE (FILM): Saudia 952 edged down by 50 paisa to Rs 46, Mobil moved downward by 50 paisa to Rs 46 and TR144 edged lower by Re 1 to Rs 45.50.
HDPE (INJECTION): Sabic 200056 went higher by Re 1 to Rs 50, Mobil 016 finished up by Re 1 to Rs 49 and Iran moved upward by Re 1 to Rs 49.
HDPE (BLOW): Kuwait ended down by Rs 2 to Rs 44, Marlex closed lower by Rs 2 to Rs 44 and Iran finished down by Re 1 to Rs 44.
LDPE: 374 moved lower by Rs 2 to Rs 48, MG 20 moved upward by Rs 5 to Rs 55 and MG 70 went higher by Rs 10 to Rs 60.
LLDPE: W118 moved down by Rs 4 to Rs 48, 7087 finished lower by Rs 2 to Rs 48 and Sabic 500026 went down by Rs 3 to Rs 52.
POLYPROPYLENE (FILM): Thai edged down by Rs 12 to Rs 58, Kuwait finished lower by Rs 12 to Rs 58 and India moved downward by Rs 12 to Rs 58.
POLYSTYRENE: BASF moved down by Rs 300 to Rs 2,500 and Pakistani was quoted at Rs 2,318.
COPOLY: Block ended higher by Re 1 to Rs 47 and Randon went up by Rs 6 to Rs 62.
HIGH IMPACT (Per bag): Pakistani was quoted at Rs 2,623.
ABS (Per bag): Polylac 707 ended lower by Rs 450 to Rs 3,350 and Iran closed down by Rs 450 to Rs 3,250. On Thursday Kashmir Day was observed throughout the country. All offices, business centres and markets remained closed. On Friday no transaction was reported from seeds and grain market. All the major players engaged, as usual in Juma prayer's preparations.
On Jodia Bazaar Ceylon raw rubber closed lower. The changes were:

Merryrub (Equivalent to RSS3) ended down by Rs 10 to Rs 58, RSSV went lower by Rs 12 to Rs 58, Merryrub (Equivalent to Crape) edged down by Rs 15 to Rs 60 and Pale Crape TPC3 moved downward by Rs 17 to Rs 60.
LATEX: Merrytax (28 kg) finished down by Rs 50 to Rs 435, Semnan Tex moved lower by Rs 50 to Rs 435 and Thai (GT) edged downward by Rs 50 to Rs 435.
On Saturday except wheat other commodities tended lower. Wheat old and new Bardana were higher by Rs 150 to Rs 2,650-2,665. Sugar better type was lower by Rs 50.
Gur superior type followed same pattern falling by Rs 100 to Rs 3,900. Cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh new low type shed Rs 35 to Rs 850. Gram Australia was lower by Rs 150 to Rs 3,900-4,100, gram dal Australia fell by Rs 200 to Rs 4,700-4,900, yellow peas Canada shed Rs 50 to Rs 2,750-2,900 and yellow dal peas Canada also dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 3,000-3,150.
On Jodia Bazaar Kirana items moved down. The changes were:

Black pepper Singapore ended lower by Rs 300 to Rs 8,300, big cardamom went downward by Rs 400 to Rs 11,900, dry ginger (China) closed lower by Rs 500 to Rs 5,300, sago moved downward by Rs 25 to Rs 1,800 and darchini finished down by Rs 250 to Rs 4,050.
