The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Monday disposed of five identical petitions challenging different acts of former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) including presidential referendum pending since 2002. The court disposed of the petitions declaring them infractions.
The petitions were filed by Pakistan Lawyers Forum, Mian Hanif Tahir, Mian Fazal Din Ansari and others challenging the military rule of Musharraf and the holding of presidential referendum in 2002.
