Chapal, a leading property developer in Dubai and Northern Emirates, celebrated its 40th anniversary and presented the first ever 'Chapal Business Awards' to the investors, contractors and media at a gala dinner event held recently (February 9) in Grand Hyatt, Dubai.
Over 1,000 members of business, semi-government and government organisations from Dubai, Ajman, UK and Pakistan attended the dinner. Chief Guest on the evening was Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan. The highlight of the evening was extraordinary artistic sand drawing presentation by artist David from France to illustrate Chapal 40 year's story. In addition the public had opportunity to win 40 door prizes and a BMW car given away by Chapal as Mega Draw Prize.
"We are very excited to be able to share our anniversary event with not only the Group, but also our family, friends, clients and investors. It will be a day to celebrate those who have been a part of Chapal's life for the last 40 years," said Chairman for Chapal Group, Mohammed Amin Chapal.
"As we progress, beyond this milestone 40th year mark, we will continue to grow and be fiscally healthy and to build upon the strength of our family name in each of our current markets around the world. We will also be extending into new territories around the globe", he added.
On this occasion the Chief Guest Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan lauded efforts of Chapal in reviving the economy by providing an opportunity to create more jobs and further said that Chapal is the classic example of tireless hard work and vision which bears fruitful results.
Speaking on the occasion Minister for Overseas Dr Muhammad Farooq Sattar recreated that Pakistanis working abroad will be given representation and parliament as well as they will be treated as VIPs and shall be given preferential treatment in all matters.
