Director of Education, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (Cima) -UK Dr Robert Jelly explained the recent changes in Cima syllabus 2010, which was launched in December last year to cope with the upcoming business requirements world-wide.
He was delivering a speech on the seminar on "Managing the Downturn" at local Hotel, in Lahore this afternoon. He was accompanied by Tam Kam Peng, Head of Alliance, Cima Malaysia Division. The seminar was organised by the members of Cima Lahore chapter Muhammad Yousaf, Amir Afzaal Rana, Muhammad Mubasshar and Farooq Hussain Mughal.
During his speech, Jelly explained that courses including risk management, financial management were included in the syllabus to cope with the recent financial crisis of the world. He said that the recent downturn is not new to the globe rather it's a cyclical change, which is coming after changes in certain variables across the globe.
