Sindh chief secretary directs officers to complete development schemes on time

In order to ensure early and efficient service to the people, Sindh Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman has directed the officers of nation building to complete the development schemes in the given period. He directed this while inspecting ongoing development work of flyover at Poonum Chowk Qasimabad, Hyderabad on Wednesday.
DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri and other government officials accompanied the Chief Secretary during his visit. The Sindh Chief Secretary said that with timely completion of development schemes they could avoid price escalation. He directed the officers concerned to put strict vigilance on the development works and ensure quality of work and efficient utilisation of development funds.
He said that the government was giving top priority for providing all basic facilities to the people. DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri while briefing the Chief Secretary Sindh about development schemes said that District Government Hyderabad was very much vigilant to get all its development schemes completed with qualitative work.
He said that from time to time review meetings were being conducted to ensure timely completion of the schemes. He assured the Sindh Chief Secretary that development schemes would be completed within the given timeframe. Fazl expressed his satisfaction over the pace of development work in Hyderabad.
