Two brothers from occupied Srinagar arrested in Nepal nine years ago and later handed over to New Delhi police are untraced till date. 70-year-old Abdul Ahad Rah said that his two sons, Muhammad Shafi, 26, and Mushtaq Ahmad, 23, were arrested by the Nepal police in 2000, in a massive round up of Kashmiris following the hijacking of an Indian plane, KMS reported.
"As soon as we learnt of the arrests, we rushed to Nepal, where the police forced us to return, saying that both my sons had been handed over to Delhi police along with 15 other Kashmiris," he added. He said that in the meantime, he learnt that the both had been shifted to a Delhi jail so he went to Delhi and searched every jail but no one gave any information about them," he added. He demanded of the puppet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, to help trace the whereabouts of his sons.
