Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Pakistan organised "Teach Excel" workshop on Thursday at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). The workshop was organised as part of ACCA's continued efforts to develop excellence in professional accounting education and establish best practices amongst tertiary accounting education providers.
ACCA Pakistan's Education and Policy Development Head Dr Afra Sajjad and Education and Manager Iram Jafry were the event facilitators. The workshop participants included faculty from ACCA Approved Learning Partners and tuition providers in Pakistan, who appreciated ACCA's innovative efforts at enhancing the capacity of professional accounting education faculty.
They were of the opinion that workshop was useful and relevant to their work as it enabled them to learn new teaching skills and methods. They said the workshop had energised them and they were motivated to improving students' exam performance. Speaking at the event, Dr Afra Sajjad stated: "Teach Excel is manifestation of ACCA's commitment to faculty development and knowledge sharing."-PR
