All teaching departments of Allama Iqbal Medical College and outdoor patient department (OPD) of the Jinnah hospital will remain open today (Monday), Allama Iqbal Medical College and MS Jinnah Hospital Principal Professor Dr Javed Akram said here on Sunday.
The announcement of local holiday on the eve of Urs celebration of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh (RA) made by district government would not implement on college activities and hospital.
He said that all teaching and other departments of the college and hospital will perform routine work on the day. He warned that a strict disciplinary action would be taken against the officials found absent from duty.
