Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala: chief secretary for foolproof security arrangements

Chief Secretary Sindh, Fazalur Rehman, has emphasised upon ensuring fool-proof security arrangements on the eve of Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala, with a view to facilitating the people in observing the religious ceremonies with due sanctity and peacefully.
Drawing the attention of secretaries of Home and Local Government departments and PPO (IG) Sindh, Fazalur Rehman asked them to undertake crash arrangements of special security all over the province, says a statement issued here on Sunday.
Categorically noting that fully co-ordinated efforts be undertaken to meet any untoward situation, with the specific reference of recent arrest of six miscreants.
The Chief Secretary also stressed the reed to vigilantly maintain the law and order by deploying LEAs personnel on specific points viz mosques, Imam Bargahs, roads and routes of the Chehlum's procession, aimed at strengthening peace and harmony.
