Regional General Manager PTCL Hyderabad, Zulfiqar Ali Ursani, visited Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro. Muhammad Muzaffar Shaikh, Senior Manager (O&M-I), Farooq Ahmed Memon, Senior Engineer (O&M) Qasimabad, Nayab Muhammad Khan Manager Multimedia and Broadband also accompanied him.
The purpose of visit was to attend the inauguration of recently commissioned PTCL Multimedia and Broadband (Internet) services for Jamshoro University Exchanges, to facilitate the residents of Jamshoro Colony as well as students of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.
PTCL team was received by Honourable Vice Chancellor MUET Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput, while meeting the team members, emphasised on the need of broadband services in this global educational as well as informative and competitive era and applauded the efforts of PTCL to bring the state of art communication technology to the students of university.
The other faculty members of MUET Professor Dr Abdul Karim Baloch, Dean of Electronic Computers Systems, Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, Registrar MUET, Professor Dr Bhawani Shankar Chaudhry, Director Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT), Professor Aftab Memon, Chairman Department of Telecommunication, Ghulam Sarwar Kandhar, Project Director in Chief MUET also attended the meeting.
