The federal government is making an all out effort for promoting investment and bolstering industrial sector in Balochistan, said federal minister for investment Muhammad Saleem Mandiwala.
"The promotion of investment and improvement of industrial sector aim at providing maximum employment opportunities and facilitating the people of Balochistan," the minister said while talking to Managing Director Lasbella Industrial Development Authority (LIDA) Aslam Shakir Baloch on Sunday.
The federal minister said that the government was providing special incentives to investors in order to promote industrial sector of the province. He said that industries had profound significance for boosting economy. "If economy develops then country will progress that will ultimately end unemployment from the country," he added.
Speaking on the occasion, the MD LIDA informed the minister about provision of incentives to investors and industrialists, and the initiatives that had been taken for resolving their problems in Lasbella district of the province.
He also presented his recommendations to the minister for improving investment and industries in Lasbella. The minister assured him that he would make efforts for implementing the suggestions for bolstering investment and industrial sector in the district.
