Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan visited Poly Clinic Hospital on Monday and inquired about the health of Izhar Amrohi, Adviser on Parliamentary Affairs who is suffering high blood pressure and is under treatment in the hospital. Dr Babar Awan talked with the adviser for some time and prayed for his early recovery and best health.
He directed the hospital administration to provide all medical facilities for the early recovery of the adviser. Doctors informed the Minister that health of the adviser is much better and recovering rapidly. Later, talking with the senior doctors of the hospital, the Federal Minister said that the hospital is delivering services during the last 46 years to a vast majority of the population. The government is satisfied with the performance of the hospital.
The Federal Minister desired to hold a separate meeting with the hospital management to workout the requirement of the hospital. Joint Executive Director, Dr Shoukat Hameed Kiyani and Cardiac Specialist, Dr Shahbaz briefed the Minister about the operational activities of the hospital and said that 7000 out door patients are provided medical facilities during two shifts daily. Dr Babar Awan expressed satisfaction on the performance of the hospital and appreciated the dedication of doctors for the noble cause.-PR
