Pakistan Kisan Rabta Committee (PKRC) has announced support to lawyers' long march and sit-in urged the farmers, tenants and farm workers to fully participate in these programmes. The representatives of the committee, Nadeem Ashraf, Farooq Tariq, Liaquat Ali, Chaudhry Abdul Jabbar, Shabbir Chaudhry and many others announced this at a press conference held at the Lahore Press Club (LPC) on Thursday.
The Committee represents 22 different farmers' organisations and movements including Anjuman Mazareen-e-Punjab. They said that the members of the committee would welcome the participants of the long march at Khanewal, Okara and Rehana Khurd. The movement for restoration of judiciary is not a movement of lawyers only rather it is a movement of the labour class, farmers and tenants of the country, they said.
